This asset was created as an update to my Trolley Stop scene. I wanted to practice world-building through the use of an object frequently encountered in this type of setting, and the bench was a good candidate to improve. After completing the high-poly model, low-poly model, and texture map bakes, I was able to spend ample time creating a story for the mesh in Substance Painter. Once I had completed the texturing process, I proceeded to place the bench into Unreal Engine and Marmoset for my final renders.

Achieving optimal color balance on the Albedo map is very important when placing an object into a scene heavily influenced by the lighting. Do not be afraid to adjust the textures in your program of choice in order to create harmony between the assets in the environment.
